Recently, CDEC signed the supervision contract for the freight area of Chengdu Tianfu International Airport. With a total construction area of about 122,000 square meters, the project is an important subsidiary warehousing and freight transportation project of the airport. It mainly includes domestic freight station, international freight station, secondary supervision warehouse, rapid transit distribution center and inspection center, one-stop joint inspection complex building, international special transport warehouse, dormitory, canteen, supporting comprehensive housing, domestic plot gate house, international plot gate house, domestic main bayonet and international main bayonet’s civil engineering, comprehensive installation and outdoor works and other supporting processes. The whole construction process of the project requires green construction and environmental supervision which is based on the green concept of “saving resource, environmental friendliness, efficient operation and humanized service”. Extensive use of new technology, high degree of difficulty, high standard requirements for CDEC's entire project team will be a new challenge.
Chengdu Tianfu International Airport is the largest civil transportation hub project in China under the 13th Five-Year Plan, positioned as a state-level international aviation hub and the highest-ranking aviation port in the Silk Road Economic Belt, and will be responsible for all international routes out of Chengdu, which is a humanistic, intelligent and green Airport with “international first-class and domestic leading”.
